Christina Wu is passionate about helping organizations more effectively leverage their resources to advance impact. For her, ‘good intentions are not enough’ and she has brought this mindset to her philanthropy and impact investment work over the last 10+ years.
As a Philanthropy Solutions Consultant she enjoys connecting and understanding people—who they are and the challenges they face, and translating this into the solutions that serve grantmakers and their end beneficiaries.
Christina worked for the European Venture Philanthropy Association for four years, listening to what philanthropists and impact investors needed to realize their objectives together. As Head of Community, she created the impact measurement framework, implemented new systems and streamlined the ‘member journey’ so impact makers could more effectively collaborate, co-invest, and share best practices.
She began her career in social impact, having co-founded Global Agents in 2006, a Canadian charitable foundation investing in early stage, high impact social enterprises globally. Prior to this, she has experience working in B2B marketing communication in the education and telecom sectors.
