Project Management

Key Results

Rachel (she/her) joined Grantbook in February 2024 as a Philanthropy Technology Project Manager. Rachel started her educational journey in the world of public education, with a specialization in teaching English as well as leadership, policy, curriculum, and evaluation. Rachel found herself along a different path to the nonprofit world where she first began as Programs Coordinator at the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa (CAFO). She quickly gained a wide range of philanthropic sector experience including fundraising best practices, event planning, peer-to-peer fundraising, program and project management, and data tracking and analysis.

After almost four years with CAFO, Rachel accepted a new challenge at the Equality Fund, a feminist grantmaking organization that funds women’s movements worldwide, as Philanthropy and Database Coordinator. Here she learned the ins and outs of their Salesforce NPSP system while working with Grantbook and their consultant! She has experience with high-level architecture building, field creation, developing and performing data entry processes, and relationship and pipeline tracking and management.

Rachel loves to bake and brunch. In her spare time you can find her rewatching her favourite TV shows (ask her any Friends-related trivia question), spoiling her cat, Daisy, and spending quality time with her wife.
